Power Pack Options
High Flow Implements – Tractor Cooling
- Not all tractors are equipped to handle the high-flow implements that have become common today. Ambient temperatures, daily usage, tractor model, age, reservoir size, and cooling capacity all significantly impact your tractor’s ability to run constant flow implements.
- Oil temperatures above 180 degrees WILL lead to premature seal failure on both your implements and your tractor. Additionally, higher temperatures will reduce the efficiency and performance of your equipment. Put simply, uncontrolled temperatures cost you money.
- A single repair from overheated equipment can often exceed the cost of a PTO power pack – so why chance it?

How It’s Shipped
Do I need the 21 gpm high flow option?
Often times, more is better, but not in this case. Many standard components are not rated up to the 21gpm. If you order the 21gpm option to have ‘more than I need’ know that more harm can be done by supplying your unit too much flow. Give us a call and we’re happy to make a recommendation based on the implement you are trying to power.
Do I need an Oil Cooler?
We recommend adding oil coolers when hydraulic line temperatures exceed 170 deg. Our oil cooler packages can be added on at any time – it does not hurt to order the unit without the oil cooler package to test temperatures yourself. Please contact us about this and we will happily walk you through the process.
Do I need the Electric On/Off Controls?
Without the electronic controls, the PTO lever on the tractor will be the method of starting and stopping the unit. In set ups where the operator needs to start and stop the unit we recommend adding the remote controls. Additionally, if reversing flow function is needed, our remote controls enable this capability.
Do I need an additional flow control valve?
Most of the time a flow control is not needed as the tractor rpm’s, along with selecting the correct pto pump, can easily get you in the proper implement range. The flow control package can be added on after ordering and receiving the implement, feel free to make the decision later once you get experience running and using the unit.
How do I order with sales tax exemption?
We charge sales tax for all products picked up at our shop in Linden Ca, or deliveries to CA addresses. If you are tax exempt for Ag, or Resale please fill out proper documentation, and email to sales@agrishieldll.com prior to ordering. We will contact you with updating pricing.
